Listen to our alpacas’ Holiday Hum while you

shop in the barn for the ultimate in luxury products.

Alpaca fiber is hypo-allergenic, luxurious, softer than cashmere, light weight and warm.  Ask us why alpacas are considered the ultimate “green” fiber.  HINT:  it comes in 22 natural colors!  When processed properly, most people can wear alpaca next to their skin—even if they are allergic to wool!

Alpacas are still considered to be one of the best family owned businesses available today.  If you’re curious, give us a jingle.

We specialize in educating and mentoring our customers before they buy—that’s how we create happy, satisfied and successful friends.  We offer high quality, show and breeding stock and herdsires, plus a few fiber boys and pets.

Meet the Alpacas!

Here’s a sample of what you’ll see this weekend:

Here are just a few of the hand woven scarves I’ve woven.  The photo doesn’t do them justice, but it gives you an idea of the type of selection you’ll find.  Some are 100% alpaca, some have hand spun alpaca yarn, a few are with my hand dyed and some are a woven with high quality commercial novelty yarn ( bamboo/merino/acrylic blends) and my alpaca.  The price depends on the width, length and materials used and range from $35 to $75.

These scarves make the perfect gift:

 One size fits all

 Hypo-allergenic

 Unique, one-of-a-kind

Quality yarns, quality workmanship will last for generations

Keep your feet toasty warm and dry this winter with warm alpaca socks.  Alpaca is naturally hypo-allergenic, warm light weight and oh so soft .

It’s the perfect sock for any time of year.  We wear the peds during the summer to keep our feet cool and the heavy boot socks are perfect for the hunter or outdoor enthusiast.  We even have the nice every-day weight to keep your toes toasty this winter.

If you have a loved one that works outside, plays outside, or has cold feet, then these alpaca socks are the perfect gift.  They are machine washable.  You can dry them on low, or hang to dry.  More sock information.

I’ve also woven some toasty warm and soft alpaca accent rugs.  They are machine washable too on the wool (warm/warm cycle).  Hang to dry.

There’s still time to create your own special gift before Christmas.  Use these luxurious hand dyed alpaca yarns to create your own unique gift.  These are our own line called “Paca Pleasures”.   I personally  hand skirt, sort, and grade the fiber before I send it to the mill to insure the highest quality, premium, heirloom quality yarn.  I hand dye these skeins using dyes I mix personally to create my own color way.  You won’t find this yarn any where else!  See more.

There are several ways to give this yarn as a gift.  You can create your own product,  have me custom weave a scarf for you (ask early!), or wrap it up as a kit for the recipient that loves to knit or crochet with one of our patterns.

We carry a full line of fiber art tools, supplies books and kits. We are an authorized dealer for Ashford.  Your fiber artist will love to receive a new:

Book on weaving, carding, spinning, dyeing, needle felting

Tool like a needle felting needle punch, hand carders

Ready made kits for knitting, crochet, needle felting & more

Not sure what to buy, we have GIFT CERTIFICATES so they enjoy a trip to the farm and select their favorite gift.

Check out all of our fiber art supplies on our 2Friends 2Farms website.

In today’s fasted paced, electronic environment cards are nearly a thing of the past.  But with these high quality, unique photos of farm life, they can be a delight to send and receive.  Buy a few to send to your family and friends, or give a boxed set as a gift.  We’ve also just finished a line of Christmas Cards!

Take a breath, take a break and send a card that shows you care.

This “shopping diva” is having fun with our ornaments.  Use these hand crafted ornaments on your own tree, to decorate a package or to give as a gift.

Also shown is our hand woven alpaca wall hanging.  It’s woven with locks of alpaca fleece and then embellished with needle felted alpacas.

Look closely and you’ll notice our diva is standing in front of a stunning hand felted scarf.  This scarf is felted with a high quality alpaca fiber and embellished with a novelty yarn and beads to create a design suited for the most sophisticated diva.

These purses have been a big hit.  They made their debut at the 2009 Breeders Choice Auction and Stacy has been busy creating them ever since.  No two are alike, but all are made with hand woven fabric and a high quality coordinating brocade lining.  For some, the look is “all about the button”.  For others it’s the unique handle or woven design.  There’s not room to show each purse, so you’ll just have to come out and see them for yourself.  Some are reversible!  See more.

(We’ve used these beautiful brocade lining to create some of our ornaments!)

The alpacas have been practicing their Holiday Humming.  I don’t think you’ll get Jingle Bells, but more of a concerto style. Either way, we’re “Decking the Walls” of the barn in preparation for our 2-day event.

If you love this photo, then you’ll love our cards.  This is Sunkisser with a Snow Kiss.  Alpacas are so expressive and capturing them in the middle of their antics is one of my most favorite challenges.

If you came out for National Alpaca Farm Days in September, then you’ll remember the newborn alpaca.  You’ll want to see him now, he’s really growing up fast.  And if Dyamond cooperates, we’ll have another newborn for you to see.  She’s due just before Thanksgiving.

We really hope you can make it out.  Here are some snow photos to get you in the Holiday Spirit...

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Carla has been busy creating her Comfort Caps and Happy Heads.  She’s so excited about her product line, she’s created a business called From the Heart, LLC and is marketing her hand knit alpaca caps to ladies who need to feel the beauty that’s inside.  She has selected our alpaca yarn because it is the softest yarn ever!  Women with thinning hair or those who are experiencing hair loss have skin that is sometimes hyper sensitive. Naturally hypo-allergenic, ’Paca Pleasures yarn is the perfect match for her projects.

For about the same price as a trip to the salon for the “works”, you can pamper yourself (or a loved one) in pure luxury.  Light weight and warm, Comfort Caps are designed to wear all day.  Chose from natural alpaca, hand spun alpaca or our hand dyed collection.

Happy Heads are the perfect gift to hold caps or wigs.  They just make you smile!

Want a unique gift?  Check out Stacy’s book, That Kind of Day.  Come out for Christmas in the Country and she’ll personally autograph it for you.  It makes a great gift for anyone who has ever had “one of those days”, lives in the country, loves horses, has kids or grandkids, or simply appreciates nature.

It’s 75 pages of humor, life lessons and the appreciation of who we are.  It will change your perspective on life.  It will make you smile.  And it’s suitable for all ages.
