Education has always been at the center of our business.
When we began really studying the alpaca industry as a business, our personal business benefited greatly. Stacy has spent a lot of time studying under national and international alpaca judges to learn about microns, skirting and sorting for the best end product. She has studied under fiber judges to learn how genetics can affect fiber production and how to integrate genetic traits to improve a breeding program.
But she has also studied with one of the largest and most successful alpaca ranch in the country on marketing, sales, genetics and production. Now we want to share our Tips & Tricks with our customers. We do it through our mentoring program and also through a series of formal educational seminars and workshops through 2Friends 2Farms called our Full Circle Program. These seminars complete the cycle of alpaca ownership offering education on Business, Marketing, Show Classes, Selection Tactics for breeding and purchasing alpacas.
Our 2Friends 2Farms “Out of the Bag” seminars and workshops series were developed educate alpaca owners on the benefits of alpaca fiber and how to use it to create a secondary income. The Full Circle™ Program
We’re very excited to announce our newest service—The Full Circle™ Program. It’s designed to integrate all aspects of your alpaca business into one complete package. The principal idea is that each portion of the circle builds and is interrelated to each section of your business.
We’ll teach you how to sort through all of the sales jargon, buzz words and the hundreds of advertised “good deals” to select the farm and the alpaca that is right for you. Don’t let that good deal set your business back. We have heard so many horror stories and even experienced a few ourselves, that we designed this program to help new and small breeders become Educated in how to set up a successful business.
We’ll take you through the Selection Process of purchasing alpacas that fit YOUR program, selecting the right herdsire with the genetic qualities that will advance YOUR breeding program and how to effectively Market your alpacas and your business.
But we don’t stop there. You will learn about Fiber and why it is an integral part of the alpaca business whether you decide to show it, process it, sell it or store it.
And you can’t talk about alpacas or their fiber without talking about the endless possibilities of how to use it. Even if you don't want to personally spin, felt or weave their fiber into beautiful works of art, the knowledge of how it is done will enable you to effectively talk with those that do. And those that do are potential customers. We’ll teach you how that works to your advantage too.
