Socks is a nice foundation female for someone just starting out or who would like to add some exciting genetics to their breeding program.

She offers density and the unique colors of black points, grey socks and a rich, deep brown appearing to be maroon.

 

We’ve bred her UP to MFI Peruvian Dark Lonestar—a Color Champion with a unique color history of his own.  Although he appears to be brown in this photo, he is actually a very dark rose grey. 

 

Lonestar is the son of  PC Running Late (a Titan son) and MFI Peruvian Divinia (a MFI Peruvian Jericho daughter).  That’s outstanding genetics all the way!

 

Socks has proven herself to produce quality crias.  Take a look at her ‘09 cria.  He’s fine, has complete coverage, true-to-alpaca phenotype and a bold crimpy fleece that is now coming in as well organized, tight locks!  This is one male I can’t wait to grow up!
